This is a pretty nice space. There are a couple of large tables with power in the middle of the room, as well as a side room/kitchen that has a round table with a few seats. There are only two phone booths so if you have calls that space can be difficult to get. My only real "complaint" is that the shared desks are on a locked elevator floor and so you have to go to 16 and request entry to 12. Coffee and tea are also located on 16. It wasn't a huge deal, but I had to leave the office a couple of times for meetings and then had to go to 16 and ask to be let back onto 12. If you were using the office consistently this would probably be a minor annoyance.

The vibes here were great - love the different types of spaces. It was easy to get a private conference room for the whole day. I will say, the WiFi was very slow and cut out for 5-10 minutes during the middle of the day. Would not recommend if you have a job interview or something where you'd absolutely NEED continuous WiFi.

I 'coworked' here for 4 days in a row - and everything was consistent: reception is friendly, quick, professional - even anticipated my question; clean; easy-no hassle connecting to wifi; as advertised.
I had never 'coworked' before and wasn't sure what to expect really. Three of the 4 days there was no one else at the two tables in the area I was in (though I'm sure that can vary). I sat at a regular table in a comfortable, adjustable desk chair. Plugged my laptop in; easily connected to wifi and worked. Because I make phone calls and have virtual/video meetings, I went to the 'not quiet' floor. You could say the table I was at was in a lobby/reception area or an alcove of that. Nearby were a couple couches that sometimes one or two people sat on either working, eating lunch, or sleeping! There was also a sort of kitchenette/bar area. At home I have a standing desk and I find it hard to sit ALL day -- so sometimes I put my laptop on the bar and stood there doing my work. Not the perfect height for me (I'm short AND that's not it's purpose) but very do-able.
I *did* go up on the rooftop twice. This was August - so it was hot. One time I went up first thing in the morning; I was able to connect to wifi, actually did some work, including a meeting before I had to slide away from the table to be in the shade...then I just went in to my usual spot.
I would say the only negative comment I have is that it's not easy to get from place to place; I did not need to go from quiet to not quiet area - but i believe to do so, you have to use the elevator and to get to the floor you want you have to first go to the reception floor and have them swipe you access to the floor you want. This doesn't take very long - but if you needed to quickly jump from here to there...
If my son attends summer camp at the USS Intrepid again next summer - I'll definitely book this same location!

Handy midtown location, and the price of $30 per desk for a day is excellent. Wifi was strong, and the space was nice and quiet in the morning. The little terrace on the 11th floor faces South - excellent little sun spot! Bring your own K-cups/creamer/sugar if you want to use the coffee machine!

The staff were very professional, friendly and accommodating. I have the need for more access to private phone booths because several times they were full when I needed them. I was also anxious when I knew a call was coming up b/c I wasn't sure if I would "get" the booth. I would pay more for a bit more privacy or more access to reserved phone rooms for peace of mind. For example, I'd pay $50 for the day if I could reserve a booth ahead of times for the hours when I knew I had a conference call coming up. Just a suggestion. I'll most likely use your space again. And I want to reiterate, the staff were very nice and helpful in trying to find me a more private space and I greatly appreciated that!

Great experience - plenty of space and friendly folks. Only complaint was it was confusing to get into. The reservation will be listed for "12th floor, 16th floor". There's no signage on the ground floor, the elevator buttons don't light up, the floors themselves aren't clearly labeled, and the bulk of the floors are pass-key only. What you have to do is hit 16 and trust that you will get there, then after you check in they'll badge you down to the 12th, which is where the day-pass coworking space is. Not really a HUGE deal but details like this make a difference.

It was a full house; thank god I got there early to secure a spot. I found the place very noisy with people conducting business meetings, interviews, conference calls, etc in the public space. There were no paper cups for coffee (which was inexistent) and no filtered water! Yes the space and furniture is a tad cooler than comparable places in midtown but that's offset by the noise and the lack of coffee & water.

Nice space. You have to check in with reception on another floor every time you leave and come back so they can unlock the elevator. They are open late, which is great.

Very cool place to work for the day. It looks just as depicted in the pictures. One thing to keep in mind: if you want water, you need to bring your own cup. They don't really offer coffee either, there is a k-cup machine there and you can probably use it if you bring your own k-cups.
I highly recommend this venue!!
