The room itself was comfortable and fit our needs without any issues. I also appreciated that we had access to the kitchen and the ease of the coffee machine and available options of teas and use of microwave made it feel even more accommodating and enjoyable. Also, the view from the room made it a more pleasant experience for our team retreat meeting. It is also good that there is a person to greet you and tell you where to go; however, this is where we had some issues. The staff was not informative enough to where our members were receiving partial information that left us confused or needing to figure things out on our own. For instance, one of our members arrived early and was not given any information other than confirming that we did have a reservation. I do believe this was miscommunication in that perhaps the Park Tower staff thought our member was going to wait for the rest of us to arrive before checking in to the room, but we were surprised that the Park Tower staff did not mention anything about where our room was, or what the procedure would be (i.e. that we would be getting a key or at what time we'd be able to have access to the room, or if it was even an option to wait in our reserved room instead). Thus, our member ended up going back to their car to wait, and it wasn't until another of our members arrived closer to the reservation time and was able to get a key. A second instance of this partial/gap of information was when a third member arrived and was told we were on the 7th floor, but no room number was given and so the members were left to communicate amongst ourselves to get to the correct room. The demeanor of the Park Tower staff was not an issue at all, but rather the lack of information given which dampened the ability to have a smooth experience.
