What makes Communion Cooperative special is the combination of a fun work environment, an award winning coffee shop, and a great restaurant on site. We are rooted in Richardson, and we're passionate about creating a space for our community to gather and connect with one another. The coworking portion of Communion is designed to foster great ideas and human connection. Whether you need a space for a day or a dedicated work space, Communion offers inspiration, energy, and collaboration. Featuring indoor and outdoor coworking spaces, conference rooms, event space, and the pleasant aroma of our coffee & eats, there aren’t many places out there with the soul of Communion.
The space used to be an auto shop, so it has some unique features including 3 glass garage doors that are opened when the weather is nice. The interior has hand-crafted wood, metal and glass features, created and built by our owner and his family. The space feels very personal and upscale. Our owners, Tim and Amy Kahle have lived in Richardson for 7 years and founded Communion in 2017 to be a place for locals to eat, work, and play.

The coworking portion of Communion is designed to foster great ideas and human connection. Day Passes are available to use 8am-5pm every weekday and give you access to our open-seating space, back patio, unlimited drip coffee, and a great community.
*Note: Day Pass users do not have free access to conference rooms.
The Bourbon Room

The Bourbon Room is one of our small meeting rooms with wifi, Apple TV, google chromecast, and a white board. This room seats 2-4 people. You are welcome to enjoy our unlimited drip coffee in the workspace, or order food from our restaurant or coffee shop to be catered directly to your conference room!
The Producer's Room
Private Meeting Room for 12

The Producer's Room is one of our large conference rooms with wifi, Apple TV, google chromecast, and a white board. This room seats up to 12 people. You are welcome to enjoy our unlimited drip coffee in the workspace, or order food from our restaurant or coffee shop to be catered directly to your conference room!
The Rye Room
Semi-private Meeting Space for 4
$60/hour
The Rye Room is one of our small meeting rooms with sound padded walls, wifi, Apple TV, google chromecast, Condenser Mic, and Headphones. People use this room to record podcasts and the like. This room seats up to 4 people. As always, you are welcome to enjoy our unlimited drip coffee in the workspace, or order food from our restaurant or coffee shop to be catered directly to your conference room!

If you are not a member of Communion Cooperative, you are fully dependent on someone being at the front desk to let you in. I had to wait an hour+ before I was able to get in. Good news is the cafe was open so I had a place to hang out until someone was able to let me in.
