Employees: Follow all health and safety guidelines, report hazards, and cooperate with safety measures.
Health and Safety Officer: Oversee the health and safety program, conduct regular inspections, and provide training and support.
Health and Safety Guidelines
Emergency Procedures:
Familiarize yourself with emergency exits, assembly points, and the location of first aid kits.
In case of an emergency, follow evacuation procedures promptly and report to the designated assembly point.
Contact emergency services using the office’s designated emergency number.
Workplace Hazards:
Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the Health and Safety Officer immediately.
Use safety equipment as required and follow procedures for handling hazardous materials.
Ergonomics:
Ensure workstations are set up to promote good posture and prevent strain. Adjust chairs, desks, and computer screens as necessary.
Take regular breaks to reduce eye strain and avoid repetitive strain injuries.
Fire Safety:
Ensure that fire exits and escape routes are clear of obstructions at all times.
Do not use elevators during a fire alarm. Follow instructions from fire wardens and other emergency personnel.
First Aid:
First aid kits are available at reception area. Contact a trained first aider if medical assistance is required.
Report any incidents or injuries to the Health and Safety Officer, regardless of severity.
Cleanliness and Hygiene:
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace. Dispose of waste properly and keep walkways clear of clutter.
Practice good hygiene, including regular hand washing and appropriate disposal of tissues and other hygiene products.
Workplace Safety:
Ensure that electrical equipment is used safely and report any faulty equipment to facilities management.
