Up-and-coming is not quite the term to describe Near Northeast / H Street Corridor, as the neighborhood cycles between trendy and forgotten. Despite it’s reputation H Street NE, dazzles with its nightlife, trendy restaurants, hole-in-the-wall bars and a rotation of festivals culminating in the H Street Festival in the fall. The H Street Corridor is a mile and a half stretch that attracts art lovers with an ever changing performance calendar at the Atlas Performing Arts Center. Foodies flock to the H Street Fresh Farmer’s market on Saturdays in the spring and summer or the eclectic mix of restaurants in the Corridor’s streets all year round.
