Museum Library
The Museum Library is located inside the main museum building. This space can host up to 60 people and includes 5 wooden tables and chairs with enough to seat 30. It offers a space with vaulted ceilings and large bookshelves filled with historical books and literature lining each wall. This space is perfect for meetings, parties, luncheons, and more!

Open since 1970, WMMI proudly features working machinery, a model mining drift and gold panning stations in the 12,200 square foot exhibit hall, plus historic buildings and machinery on our beautiful 27 acre campus. The Western Museum of Mining and Industry (WMMI) is committed to preserving and interpreting the rich mining history of Colorado and the American West. Plan a trip to the Western Museum of Mining and Industry. Our rich, western history comes to life with interactive exhibits, knowledgeable and entertaining docents, Gold Panning and more. The Machine hall and exhibits encompass the entirety of museum lobby. This space features informational visuals along the wall, and large working machinery which is our most prominent exhibits. The Machine Hall is ideal for unique and trendy events as it's ambiance is gallery-style, artistic, and colorful. This space has a holding capacity of 75 guests and can be rented out in tandem with the museum library, or by itself. The Machine Hall is great for parties, corporate retreats, and more!

The theater has a full audio and visual system, and chairs that can be move or rearranged to meet your requirements. This space has a holding capacity of 30 guests.

The Ore Mill House is an out-building on the museum campus with a holding capacity of 60 guests. This rustic-style building has an open floor plan pf 24ft by 36ft (864 sqft). This space offers vaulted ceilings, wooden beams, and multiple entryways/exits. This space is great for those seeking more seclusion and privacy.

The Reynold's Ranch Hay Barn is an out-building on our property that is perfect for large events up to 150 guests. The barn features two large barn doors that can be opened up for an indoor/outdoor experience, with the western door opening up to sweeping views of the Front Range. Inside, the bar features vaulted ceilings, wooden beams, and rustic wagon-wheel chandeliers. Also, the barn features a custom wood-top bar with basic bartending equipment as well as refrigeration and a freezer. This space is perfect for large get-togethers, parties, meetings, etc. We have two large speakers and a microphone that are laptop compatible as well.
