The health and safety of our community continue to remain a priority at SOMO Cowork, as does our commitment to creating a coworking community of welcome and belonging. We ask that you follow these guidelines not just for yourself, but for others. We know that if we all continue to do our small part, we can keep the SOMO Cowork community safe and thriving as we move towards better days!
General Guidance + Mask Policy
As of February 16, in keeping with Sonoma County’s updated regulations, face masks will be optional for all SOMO Cowork members and guests who are fully vaccinated. Individuals should share an image of his/her Covid-19 vaccination cards (physical or digital) with SOMO staff in order to comply with this policy update.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds throughout the day.
Staff will monitor adherence to these guidelines for your safety and that of our community.
Cleaning
We will regularly clean and disinfect high-touch areas throughout the workday.
Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes will be available throughout the space. Please wipe down your work area before and after each use.
Our regular cleaning services will continue, with added sanitization.
Phone Booths
When you are done using the phone booth, please wipe down the table and door handles of the phone booth.
Conference Rooms
All conference room time must be booked through SOMO Cowork staff prior to use. Please no drop-in use of conference rooms.
Our capacity guidelines for our conference rooms are:
Conference rooms will be available to rent by members and non-members.
You are not required to wear a mask in our conference rooms.
Conference rooms will be cleaned and sanitized between meetings.
Kitchen
We will sanitize the kitchen area regularly throughout the day, including the refrigerator, kitchen sink, and microwave.
Handwashing and sanitizing prior to / after handling food or drink is a “must do” for all.
Please wipe down any handles or surfaces you touch.
Please bring only what you need for the day (drinks, food, condiments) in a personal lunchbox that can be taken with you when you leave each day. The refrigerator will be cleaned each morning. Anything left in the fridge from the previous day (food, drinks, condiments, containers, etc) will be thrown away at that time.
Offices
You are not required to wear a mask in your office, unless you choose to do so.
Wipe down surfaces frequently.
Please limit the number of people in your office to the maximum capacity of your office as outlined in your lease.
If you have a guest or a meeting that will cause you to exceed the capacity of your office, please book one of our conference rooms.
Guests
All guests must check-in with SOMO Cowork staff at the front desk or via email at info@somocowork.com.
You are responsible for ensuring that your guest follows our health and safety guidelines.
If You Are Sick
For the safety of our coworkers and community, we are asking members who are displaying even mild flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough and cold to PLEASE STAY HOME.
Please notify our staff if you are diagnosed with COVID-19 and have used our space in the past 30 days.
If you test positive for Covid-19, please notify our Community Manager, at info@somocowork as soon as possible so that we can implement safety protocol and complete additional cleaning and disinfecting of our space. Your identity will always remain confidential.
