Introduction

At Creative House, we are dedicated to fostering a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for all members, staff, and visitors. Our Health & Safety Policy aims to prevent accidents, promote well-being, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

Management is responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety laws, conducting regular risk assessments and safety audits, and providing necessary training. We maintain clear emergency procedures and ensure that all members and staff are familiar with them. It is also our duty to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and used safely. Members are expected to adhere to all health and safety policies, report any concerns or incidents immediately, use equipment responsibly, and keep their workspaces clean. Participation in safety training sessions is also required.

Procedures

We conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate these risks. Our emergency procedures, including clearly marked exits, ensure that everyone knows how to react in an emergency. First aid kits are easily accessible, and emergency contact numbers are prominently displayed. Maintaining a clean and safe workspace is a priority. We keep the environment smoke-free. All equipment is regularly checked for safety and well-maintained, with appropriate training provided for its use..

Review and Monitoring

This Health & Safety Policy is reviewed annually or after any significant incident to ensure it remains effective. We continually monitor compliance and seek to improve our safety practices.
