Introduction
This Health and Safety Policy outlines the commitment of AW Platform Co Limited and its subsidiaries, operating a serviced office space under brand ‘Rivvia’ totalling approximately 90,000 sq ft between London and Amsterdam, to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all occupants and visitors. Our goal is to prevent accidents, protect health, and ensure the well-being of up to 1,500 people who utilise the office spaces.
2. Responsibilities
2.1 Management
- Senior Management will take ultimate responsibility for health and safety matters within the office space.
- A designated Health and Safety Officer will be appointed to oversee the implementation of this policy.
- The Health and Safety Officer will conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
2.2 Occupants
- All occupants must adhere to this health and safety policy.
- Report any hazards, incidents, or near-misses promptly to the Health and Safety Officer.
- Cooperate with management in implementing safety measures.
3. Risk Assessment and Management
- Regular risk assessments will be conducted to identify hazards and implement control measures.
- Emergency procedures will be established, and all occupants will be informed of evacuation routes and assembly points.
- Fire safety measures, including regular drills and fire extinguisher maintenance, will be in place.
4. First Aid and Medical Support
- Adequate first aid equipment and trained personnel will be available.
- A first aid room or designated area will be maintained.
- A list of local medical facilities will be provided.
5. Fire Safety
- Fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and firefighting equipment will be regularly maintained and tested.
- A designated fire warden will be appointed and trained.
- Smoking will be strictly prohibited within the office space.
6. Electrical Safety
- Periodic electrical inspections will be conducted.
- All electrical equipment must be PAT-tested and in good working condition.
- Overloading power outlets and using unauthorized electrical equipment is prohibited.
7. Ergonomics and Workspace Safety
- Ergonomically designed furniture will be provided.
- Regular workstation assessments will be conducted.
