Introduction 

This Health and Safety Policy outlines the commitment of AW Platform Co Limited and its subsidiaries, operating a serviced office space under brand ‘Rivvia’ totalling approximately 90,000 sq ft between London and Amsterdam, to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all occupants and visitors. Our goal is to prevent accidents, protect health, and ensure the well-being of up to 1,500 people who utilise the office spaces.  

2. Responsibilities 

 2.1 Management 

- Senior Management will take ultimate responsibility for health and safety matters within the office space. 

- A designated Health and Safety Officer will be appointed to oversee the implementation of this policy. 

- The Health and Safety Officer will conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. 

2.2 Occupants 

- All occupants must adhere to this health and safety policy. 

- Report any hazards, incidents, or near-misses promptly to the Health and Safety Officer. 

- Cooperate with management in implementing safety measures. 

3. Risk Assessment and Management 

- Regular risk assessments will be conducted to identify hazards and implement control measures. 

- Emergency procedures will be established, and all occupants will be informed of evacuation routes and assembly points. 

- Fire safety measures, including regular drills and fire extinguisher maintenance, will be in place. 

4. First Aid and Medical Support 

- Adequate first aid equipment and trained personnel will be available. 

- A first aid room or designated area will be maintained. 

- A list of local medical facilities will be provided. 

5. Fire Safety 

- Fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and firefighting equipment will be regularly maintained and tested. 

- A designated fire warden will be appointed and trained. 

- Smoking will be strictly prohibited within the office space.  

6. Electrical Safety 

- Periodic electrical inspections will be conducted. 

- All electrical equipment must be PAT-tested and in good working condition. 

- Overloading power outlets and using unauthorized electrical equipment is prohibited. 

7. Ergonomics and Workspace Safety 

- Ergonomically designed furniture will be provided. 

- Regular workstation assessments will be conducted. 

- Safe storage of personal items is encouraged to prevent tripping hazards. 

8. Hygiene and Sanitation  

- Regular cleaning and sanitation will be performed. 

- Adequate handwashing facilities and hand sanitizers will be available. 

- Guidelines for maintaining personal hygiene will be communicated to occupants. 

9. Security  

- Entry and access controls will be in place to ensure the security of the office space. 

- All occupants must adhere to security protocols. 

- Suspicious activity or persons should be reported immediately.  

10. Hazardous Substances  

- Any hazardous substances used within the office space will be appropriately labelled and stored. 

- Safety data sheets will be available, and training on handling hazardous substances will be provided.  

11. Communication 

- This policy will be readily available to all occupants. 

- Regular health and safety communications and updates will be issued. 

- Suggestions and concerns regarding health and safety are encouraged and should be reported to the Health and Safety Officer. 

12. Compliance and Review  

- Regular audits will be conducted to ensure compliance with this policy. 

- The policy will be reviewed annually or as needed to reflect changes in the office space or legal requirements.
