fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We’ll be putting our unused compute power to work processing data about virus to support the development of treatments and vaccines.
Whenever a computer isn’t being used, all of those cycles go to waste, so we’re gonna use those unused cycles, group them all together from all the other computers in our team to make them kind of into a SUPER COMPUTER!
Lucid Private Offices’ computers and servers will be crunching data on COVID-19 to help scientists develop a vaccine. During idle periods, computer capacity typically goes unused. Now, it’ll be used by Folding@Home to process data on COVID-19.
Lucid Private Offices is committed to the success and safety of our employees, clients and their businesses. Like most other shared workspace providers, we will continue to exercise the best standards of practice including disinfecting highly used common areas, encouraging clients and staff to stay home when possible, diligent hygiene, and social distancing.
In addition to the standard practices currently in place, Lucid Private Offices is taking additional action to assist our valued clients.
Here are a few steps we are implementing through March, and longer if necessary.
We are offering free private office upgrades to our Virtual Office, Hot Desk, and Dedicated Desk clients.
Our Virtual and Office clients will receive free digital mail services, including mail opening and scanning, upon request.
Free mail forwarding upon request.
Complimentary telephone transfer services to our client’s choice of destination instead of to their office.
Any unused meeting room hours will automatically roll over to the next month for use.
We are unaware of any COVID-19 cases among any of our locations but are ready to support our clients the best we can. We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust if necessary.
