Health & Safety Policy
At BusinessWise, your health and safety is our top priority. Therefore, as we follow the quickly developing environment around Coronavirus (COVID-19) we are implementing new policies to help us prevent the spread of the virus and limit the impact on our community.
Following recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) we are implementing the following enhanced health and safety policies.
Cleaning
We are implementing enhanced cleaning procedures both day and night in our locations to protect our employees, customers, and guests.
These include:
Cleaning shared surfaces regularly with disinfectant.
Offering additional cleaning and disinfecting services to our customers within their premises.
Instituting protocols to quickly respond to any reported issues.
Providing hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for customers and guests use.
Hygiene
Please follow these important guidelines about hygiene:
Wash your hands frequently and properly
Use your arm or sleeve when coughing or sneezing, not your hands, and use hand sanitizer regularly
Please dispose of tissues immediately and wash hands or use sanitizer any time you have used tissues.
Refrain from touching your nose or mouth. If you do, please wash your hands afterwards.
Social Distancing & Masking
Our employees are observing social distancing protocols and will be wearing masks when in any of the common areas (until further directed otherwise). We encourage customers and guests to observe the same guidelines set forth by the CDC, Allegheny County and Pennsylvania governments.
If You Have Been Exposed
For our employees, customers, and guests. If you have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19 please let the property manager know of any known cases or points of contact that you or your guests in the space have with COVID-19, so that we can work, in anonymity, to ensure proper communications and response plans. Our team has worked diligently on a response plan and we are prepared to address a number of potential scenarios. While our response is determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into account where the individual was (whether within our space or not), when they were last in the building, the status of COVID-19 testing, and, most importantly, guidance from public health officials and our landlord partner, plans include either a deep-cleaning or medical-grade cleaning of our spaces, in addition to potential long-term closures.
If you are showing any symptoms of illness, we ask you to check with your healthcare provider. Please do not plan to return to work until you have been cleared and are no longer sick.
If You Are Sick
For the safety of our coworkers and community, we are asking customers who are displaying even mild flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough and cold to stay home. Please! Not only is this common courtesy, it will help you recover more quickly and keep your immune system strong. We ask you to check with your healthcare provider. Please do not plan to return to work until you have been cleared and are no longer sick.
Please notify our staff immediately if you are diagnosed with COVID-19 and have used our office in the past 30 days.
