The Garage was built to serve the creative economy in New York’s Capital Region and to provide a space for creativity and collaboration across industries here in the vibrant city of downtown Troy. The Garage is a place where you’ll be inspired to do your best work –from getting your startup company off the ground to connecting with your clients in a flexible space that makes you look pretty cool (if we’re being honest). Since we launched in 2016, our member companies help increase economic spending in the city of Troy, have generated millions of dollars in venture capital, and most importantly? They’re all-around awesome people. We also believe in working with community partners that help the creative economy here in the Capital Region. Troy Innovation Garage is linked to many important Capital Region, New York State, and national networks to help achieve our mission of becoming a place where companies can start up, grow, and eventually spin out into major success. We are a key sponsor of the Alliance for the Creative Economy (ACE), and also partner with Innovate518, Center for Economic Growth, NYS Economic Development Council, and Upstate Venture Connect (UVC), organizations dedicated to growing opportunities for the creative class and improving our state’s startup culture.
