ThriveCo has taken a number of precautions to help try to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These include, but are not limited, to the following:

Temporary space changes

Spacing out and paring down seating at tables/workstations in the coworking space and meeting rooms to allow for adequate social distancing

New materials

Stocking common areas + meeting rooms with EPA approved disinfectant spray + paper towels so members can disinfect any workstations or touched surfaces after they and their employees, contractors, visitors and guests use the space

Providing tissues, no-touch trashcans, soap, water, and hand sanitizer (as available for ThriveCo to purchase)

Employees

Screening employees for symptoms daily, providing masks to employees to be worn at ThriveCo if needed

Cleaning

Increased cleaning of high-touch surfaces with EPA approved disinfectants

Face coverings

Effective February 28th, 2022 per the county order, masks are no longer required in indoor public places. The county is still recommending masks be worn in “crowded areas with poor ventilation.” According to CDC guidelines, “People may choose to mask at any time. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask.”

Per the terms of their membership agreements, members have the right to decide if and when they come to ThriveCo. When they choose to come to ThriveCo, all members (regardless of Membership Type) and their employees, contractors, visitors and guests are required to abide by the following procedures:

Self-Monitor their symptoms. Each time that a member or their employee, contractor, visitor or guest plans to come to ThriveCo, they must do the following prior to arriving at ThriveCo:

Check their temperature

Consider whether they have any of the following symptoms:

Cough

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

Fever or chills

Muscle or body aches

Headache

Sore throat

New loss of taste or smell

Congestion or runny nose

Nausea or vomiting

Diarrhea

Consider if they have had close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 10 days.

If the member, their employee, contractor or visitor has a temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or above, has any of the above symptoms, or has been in close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 10 days, they may not enter ThriveCo. If the member who has had close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 10 days and is fully vaccinated themselves, they you do not need to stay away from others or get tested unless they have symptoms.

If any member, their employee, contractor, guest or visitor develops any symptoms while at ThriveCo, they must immediately leave ThriveCo, and contact their healthcare provider for additional guidance. This individual must not return to ThriveCo until they have met the CDC’s criteria to discontinue home isolation or they have been cleared to return by their healthcare provider.

Notify ThriveCo staff of risk. Members must notify a ThriveCo staff member in writing right away if they or anyone they have brought to ThriveCo (employees, contractors, visitors or guests) test positive for COVID and have been onsite at ThriveCo in the preceding 10 days. In the event that this occurs, we will notify our members who may have been in close contact with that individual at ThriveCo (and will withhold the name of the member who came forward for privacy reasons). We will then work with the local health department to see what steps need to be taken to allow adequate time for safe cleaning and disinfecting of the infected areas.

Wear a mask if needed.

Disinfect touched surfaces. Members are asked to sanitize and disinfect their and their employees, contractors, visitors and guests’ workstations and touched surfaces (door knobs, handles, light switches, tables, etc.) after use.

Inform visitors of policies. Per our membership agreement and county guidance, members must inform their employees, contractors, visitors and guests of our procedures in advance of their visit to diffuse any potential misunderstandings.

Allow time for disinfecting meeting rooms. Members and their employees and contractors must allow adequate time within your meeting room bookings to use disinfectant spray and paper towels to wipe down the work stations and touched surfaces in the room after you and your guests and before the next reservation on the calendar.
