Covid-19 Response
As we prepared to re-open the office, we have some new policies and procedures we have implemented to reduce the spread of coronavirus and keep everyone safe. We will continue to evolve guidelines as things progress, which is why if a member of your staff has been exposed to covid-19, you notify us, so we can take the measures needed and notify the building management.
Social Distancing & PPE:
We will all need to follow the CDC guidelines to maintain social distancing and follow federal, state and local recommendations for wearing face masks/coverings. Face masks/coverings are required in common areas such as the lobby, hallways, and kitchen to help prevent the spread of covid-19. Please encourage your guests to follow face masks/covering requirements as well.

Elevators:
At this time, elevators are on night mode, so only tenants with an access card (full-time tenants) will be permitted. When you arrive, please call 612-349-5200 and a staff member will let you up. We will lend you a temporary access card for the day to let your clients up.
Please limit 3 people per elevator. When you are riding the elevator with another person, stand in opposite corners to maximize distancing.
IDS Center janitorial staff will be disinfecting the elevator buttons throughout the day. Please note due to the higher volume of cleanings and stronger cleaning products used, the elevator stain has rubbed off and the IDS is working on a solution.
Common Areas and Amenities:
As of right now, the IDS Center has closed the Fitness Center and Tower Club on 41.
To maintain distancing, we have asked you to limit three people in the kitchen at once. We have asked you limit 1 person in the copy rooms and mail room at once.
We have provided hand sanitizers in common areas such as the kitchen and lobby, as well as disinfectant spray in each conference room and common areas. The IDS Center is providing hand sanitizer stations at each elevator and on each floor.
To help protect our staff, we have installed a plexiglass shield at the front desk.
Janitorial:
The IDS Center janitorial staff will continue their increased frequency of cleaning and disinfectant in high density and at high-touch points in the common areas, such as elevators, doorknobs, restrooms, and suite entrances. They have mandated the cleaning staff to wear PPE
The suite staff will be doing frequent cleanings of the common areas. We will also be disinfecting each conference room directly after use, please allow us 15 minutes between conference room reservations to do so.
What we ask of you:
Please DO NOT ENTER the office if, in the past 14 days, you have any of the symtpoms associated with Covid-19, as listed within the CDC guidlines.
Please follow CDC guidelines for maintaining good hygiene by washing hands frequently and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet.
Due to Governor Walz's ordinance, you and your guests will be asked to wear a face covering or mask in common areas such as the lobby, restrooms, kitchen, hallways, and copy rooms. You may remove the mask in your conference room.
KITCHEN – we are asking that if you use a dish, cup, mug, or silverware that you place your own dishes into the dishwasher to help prevent the spread of coronavirus to staff and other tenants. We will be running the dishwasher every evening at 5:00 pm. And we will unload the clean dishes every morning. We will be disinfecting the counters, refrigerator, and microwave throughout the day.
