DeskLabs is committed to providing a safe and healthy workspace for all members and staff. We recognize the importance of maintaining high standards of cleanliness within our coworking space. This policy outlines our commitment to ensuring the well-being of everyone present in our premises. Daily janitorial services ensure a sanitized, clean, and safe work environment for all.
Policy Statement:
1. Compliance: We will comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and strive for best practices in our co-working space.
2. Risk Assessment: Regular risk assessments will be conducted to identify potential hazards and take appropriate measures to eliminate or mitigate them.
3. Emergency Procedures: Clear procedures for emergency situations, including fire evacuations, medical emergencies, and natural disasters, will be established and communicated to all occupants. Regular drills will be conducted to ensure preparedness.
4. Hygiene: We will maintain high standards of hygiene by providing hand sanitizers, tissues, and ensuring regular cleaning and disinfection of common areas, restrooms, and shared facilities.
5. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Necessary PPE, such as face masks and gloves, will be made available for members and staff, especially in situations where physical distancing is challenging.
6. Physical Distancing: We will implement measures to encourage physical distancing, such as rearranging seating arrangements, placing signage to guide traffic flow, and limiting the number of occupants in common areas.
7. Ventilation: Adequate ventilation will be maintained to ensure a constant flow of fresh air. Windows and doors will be kept open where possible, and ventilation systems will be regularly inspected and maintained.
8. Reporting of Incidents: All accidents, near misses, or potential hazards must be reported immediately to the management. A reporting system will be established for this purpose, ensuring that corrective actions are taken promptly.
9. Training and Awareness: All occupants will be provided with information and training on health and safety procedures. Regular awareness campaigns and training sessions will be conducted to keep everyone informed and updated.

Management: The management is responsible for establishing and maintaining health and safety standards, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Members: Members are expected to adhere to the health and safety guidelines, report any concerns promptly, and cooperate with the management in implementing safety measures.
Staff: Staff members will receive appropriate training, follow established procedures, and assist in creating a safe environment for everyone in the co-working space.
This health and safety policy will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if necessary, to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. Any necessary revisions will be made promptly to address changing circumstances and regulations.
