Founded in 2010 in downtown Phoenix by Jenny Poon and Odeen Domingo in response to the economic recession and a need for a central innovation hub for emerging entrepreneurs, CO+HOOTS has become a globally recognized coworking space and home to more than 280 entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses. Jenny and Odeen have been integral in building an inclusive innovation ecosystem in Arizona by launching the first coworking space in Phoenix and investing more than a decade of supporting entrepreneurs through coworking, incubation and ecosystem development. Jenny and Odeen both come from immigrant backgrounds and made it a priority to remove barriers that communities of color often face. From access to robust networks that will lift up entrepreneurs, to immersive business incubation, CO+HOOTS is an extension of their mission to create equity in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
