Event Space for 25 at Old City Art House

144 Vine St, Philadelphia, PA 19106
Beautiful Brick & Mosaic Event Space
Welcome to a creative and pretty place to have an event! Located on a park, our main window overlooks the green space with beautiful trees creating a feeling of relaxation and appreciation. Inside, the exposed brick and 18th century wood beams evoke Philly’s unique heritage and can-do vibe. Furnishings include a conference table with seating for up to 6, however this can be “put away” should open space be desired. There is also a darling loveseat (seating for 2) with laptop desks facing the window so you can work while taking in the natural light and green space. There is a small kitchen in the back with filtered water and Kcup coffee available. Feel free to take a coffee break in the tiny mosaic adorned courtyard or even in the park! The front of the building and exterior in the courtyard are enveloped in beautiful mosaics created by none other than Isiah Zagar. Furnishing requests can be accommodated for up to 15 people. Included is free wi-fi and a projector, podium, speakers, and easel pad/white board for brainstorming. Secure bike parking is available in the courtyard.
Local eateries include: United by Blue one block away for farm to table coffee, breakfast and sandwiches, Sassafrass Market three blocks away for deli counter and small groceries, Race Street Cafe one block away for amazing burgers, salads, and pub fare, and Tartes or ICI Cafe for delicious home-made baked goods. Plus there are more! Food delivery options are endless, some favorites are: the BEST roast pork from Paesanos, jerk chicken Philly cheesesteak from Reggae Reggae Vibes, super healthy paleo fare from Snap Kitchen, and much more (Sushi, Thai, Middle Eastern, etc.). My husband is a former chef and we can put together custom catering options for you. Old City Art House is easily reached with public transit. There is a parking garage available, The Old City Parkominium, on the next block over. There is also 2 hour street parking during the day. Located right under the Ben Franklin Bridge, the Old City Art House is a perfect place for your small gathering!
