The space was very quiet and clean and the room had everything we needed. The entire process to book online was very easy. There was also plenty of metered parking out front. We'll definitely book here again when we need a meeting space.
We got to the space to check in and rang the bell multiple times and waited. It was at least 15 min before we could get in and we wound up having to call someone to buzz us in. The space was kind of empty and dingy.
This might be a good place for people who use it as a regular office space, but not the best for a 1 time meeting. No one to greet you at the door (was hard to actually get someone to buzz us in and we did not receive a code or anything to get in), no one to ask questions once we were inside, It just wasn't the most welcoming place. Felt impersonal and lacked character compared to other co-working spaces in the East Bay.
Great space. I've booked on multiple occasions. Perfect for small team meeting up to four people. Only challenge, which could be my fault, is understanding how to access the building more easily. Each time, I was fortunate to run into someone that had a key card.
space was nice but managed loosely. I arrived the front door was locked and I had to slip in with someone that was going in. There was no reception or orientation to speak of so it was kind of awkward.
Great space, great location, generally easy to use. The only glitch was on the first day and the issue of how to get into the building if no one is at the desk - that was a little stressful. It would be helpful if there was an access code to get in first day, or an access code to get to a fob - something that allows for not having to rely on someone being there.
When we arrived, the door was locked and there was no receptionist. Another tenant let us in...but we hadn't been there before so didn't know what to do. There was another person in the room who rudely waved us on. We were there 2 minutes before our 10am. When we went for coffee, the keourig machine was not working, (or we didn't know how) and when asked someone in the co-working space if they knew, their response was a brash "push the button."
Instead, we made a coffee run.
Those few things kind of rubbed us wrong the way. While the space is nice, the personell was less so.
We would probably rent again, but do not take kindly to pretentiousness.
Per latest guidelines from Alameda County, masks are no longer required in our spaces if you are vaccinated.
If You Are Sick
For the safety of our coworkers and community, we are asking members who are displaying even mild flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough and cold to stay home. Please! Not only is this common courtesy, it will help you recover more quickly and keep your immune system strong. While the chances of community infection of COVID-19 are very low, it is still cold and flu season, and staying home is the most important way to protect others from getting sick.
