The Office, Berkeley's first locally owned coworking space, is located in the newly constructed Addison Arts building in the heart of Downtown Berkeley. The Office boasts 6,000 square feet of flexible workspaces--ranging from cafe seating complete with ambient noise and artisanal pour over coffee to fully enclosed glass offices for teams of any size. For a small monthly fee, members can enjoy access to beautifully designed office space, lighting fast wi-fi, conference rooms, healthful drinks and snacks, printing and mail sorting, a real business address, reception services, and a network of like-minded entrepreneurs. Our ground floor space offers sidewalk seating for coffee breaks, and easy access to BART, Berkeley Repertory Theater, the Jazz Cafe, and Freight & Salvage. And the best part? We are not another out-of-town, billion dollar corporate startup: a tired and frustrating narrative to many Bay Area natives. Developed by Cal alums and designed by KDA and AbMo, our entire team is deeply committed to creating a genuinely local coworking space whose primary goal is to foster the economic growth of businesses and individuals in our community.
