Making Work Safe
To Arizona Capitol Club guests and members:
Ensuring a healthy professional environment is a top priority. The ever-evolving Coronavirus pandemic created safety regulations from the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Arizona’s Department of Health Services (DHS). We are implementing recommended government polices to do our part in stopping the spread of COVID-19. We appreciate your taking the time to becoming familiar with how you can help during your time with us.
Prior to your visit we recommend reading the recommendations from WHO, CDC, and DHS.
We have increased the frequency of cleaning during the day, focusing on high touch areas, surfaces and workspaces by:
- Cleaning shared surfaces regularly with disinfectant.
- Providing hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes.
- Asking our members and guests to help sanitize common surfaces that you have used.
Personal and Professional Hygiene
Government agencies offer the following guidelines about hygiene:
- Promote frequent and thorough hand washing by providing workers, customers, and worksite visitors with a place to wash their hands.
- Provide alcohol-based hand rubs containing at least 60% alcohol.
- Encourage respiratory etiquette, including covering coughs and sneezes.
- Provide customers and the public with tissues and trash receptacles.
Use of kitchen services like coffee, snacks, and microwave use are accessible, but limited during this time. Only one-time use items like plates, cups, and utensils will be allowed during the pandemic. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
If You Are Sick
We are asking members and guests who are displaying even mild flu-like symptoms like fever, cough, or cold to please stay home. Please help keep our community safe and healthy by working on your recovery for a speedy return to work! If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and have used our space in the last 30 days, please inform staff.
Arizona Capitol Club members, guests, and employees must quarantine for 14 days after traveling internationally. If you display any symptoms of sickness please check with your healthcare provider and do not return to work until you are cleared and no longer sick.
We are strongly encouraging members and guests to avoid congregating in our common spaces and will try to accommodate any members or guests who ask to work or meet in isolation.
Finally, we have policies in place and will communicate further to implement closures and further cleaning protocols if we are notified that any person that has used our space recently is diagnosed with COVID-19.
Thank you for putting the health and safety of our employees, members, guests and local community first! We are closely following the recommendations by the WHO and CDC and will provide updates as needed. In the meantime, thank you for helping continue to keep our welcoming community healthy and safe!
