The Change Room
The Change Room was built with the brain in mind: a relaxed interior that’s at once casual and professional, and designed to instil clarity. A place where people feel comfortable to speak openly. A room with the power to unlock your potential. It’s also a creative space, that helps you think differently, and that bring about positive change. Floor to ceiling whiteboard wall; wifi; Flat screen and camera for virtual participants; private kitchenette; on-site concierge and access to meeting facilitation services if required.

From start-ups to government. Our space The Change Room was built with the brain in mind: a relaxed interior that’s at once casual and professional, and designed to instil clarity. A place where people feel comfortable to speak openly. A room with the power to unlock your potential. It helps you think differently, and that brings about change. Located in the vibrant Surry Hills, opposite Central Station, buses and Light Rail cafes and eateries in abundance.

Your health and safety is our top priority. We are an NSW registered COVID safe business, and we have in place policies to help us prevent the spread of the virus and limit the impact on our community. Thank you for abiding by this and supporting our efforts!  

Sign-in & Notification procedures

Everyone is required to sign in on entry to our space via the NSW QR Code, or written entry, this ensures that we are all able to play our part as responsible citizens in preventing further COVID spread within the community.

Please notify our staff immediately if you are diagnosed with COVID-19 and have used our space in the last 30 days. 

Social distancing

Everyone is required to abide by NSW Government social distancing requirements when using our space. Please always respect this requirement throughout your visit.

Cleaning

We have enhanced cleaning procedures in our location to protect our employees, clients and guests. These include; 

Cleaning kitchen and all surfaces after every client or guest visit with disinfectant. 

Providing hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes. 

Asking our guests to help sanitize common surfaces that you have used. 

Asking our guests to bring their own water bottle and drinking vessel.

Hygiene

Please follow these important guidelines about hygiene:

Wash your hands frequently and properly. A guide can be found here: www.who.int/gpsc/clean_hands_protection

Use your arm or sleeve when coughing or sneezing, not your hands, and use hand sanitizer regularly. Wash your hands. (It’s a theme.)

Please dispose of tissues immediately in bin provided and close lid. Wash hands or use sanitizer any time you have used tissues. (There’s that hand-washing again!)

Refrain from touching your nose or mouth. If you do, please wash your hands afterwards. (In case you forgot.)

Disposable masks are available for your use if you would like to wear one – after use please dispose of it in the bin provided with consideration for the environment.

If you use a shared utensil, please wash immediately and leave in draining board on sink – these are all re-soaked and washed after every session

If You Are Sick

For the safety of our community and your co-workers, we ask that guests who are displaying even mild flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough and cold to stay home. Please! Not only is this common courtesy, but it will also help you recover more quickly and keep your immune system strong.

If You Have Travelled

you have recently travelled internationally, you are required to self-quarantine for 14 days, even if you show no symptoms, to monitor for any symptoms of illness.

If you have recently travelled internationally or may have been exposed to people travelling from affected areas, please monitor yourself. 

If you are showing any symptoms of illness we ask you to check with your healthcare provider. Please do not plan to return to work until you’ve been cleared and are no longer sick.

Closures

Finally, in the event we are notified that any person in our building or that has used our space within the past 30 days is diagnosed with COVID-19, we have policies in place and will communicate further to implement temporary closures and further cleaning protocols as required.
