The Santa Cruz Public Libraries provide vibrant physical and virtual public spaces where people connect, discover, and engage the mind. Nonprofit groups whose meetings are free and open to the public may use the meeting rooms. No admission fees, fund solicitations, or direct sales may be made. Groups may use rooms only for the hours booked in advance. All set-up and clean-up must be accomplished within the reserved time, unless staff assistance has been requested at an additional charge. The Rooms must be returned to their original condition. Additional amenities are billed separately and must be paid directly at the venue on the day of your meeting. To request the use of a baby grand piano for an additional cost of $20.00, send email to library_admin@santacruzpl.org.

The downtown branch also has a baby grand piano available for use at an additional cost of $25. To request the piano, send email to library_admin@santacruzpl.org.

Some free parking in small lot behind the library, entry located on Locust St. Metered parking and parking garages are close by.

Cancellation/Change Policy

Flexible: Full refund 24 hours before reservations starts
  • If member cancels after the reservation starts, no refund is available.
  • If member cancels within one hour of booking the reservation and before the reservation starts, workspace costs will be fully refunded.
  • If member cancels 24 hours or more before the reservation starts, workspace costs will be fully refunded.
  • If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to LiquidSpace within 24 hours of the reservation start time.
  • LiquidSpace will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes.
  • A reservation is not officially canceled until the guest receives a cancellation confirmation e-mail from LiquidSpace. If the cancellation e-mail is not received, contact LiquidSpace.
